Audemars Piguet Unveils New Manufacture Centror Watch Factory

On May 8, 2014, Ms. Jasmine Audemars, Chairman of the Audemars Piguet Group and Chairman of the Audemars Piguet Group; Mr. François-Henry Bennahmias, President of Audemars Piguet; Mr. Olivier Boillat, General Manager of Centror; Unveiled the new Centror watch factory together.

According to Olivier Boillat, Centror has been a subsidiary of the Audemars Piguet Group since 2000, and today it has 74 employees from 17 countries with outstanding skills in the field of fine watchmaking.
The company’s business covers the manufacture of watch cases and most of its related content. In addition to Audemars Piguet timepieces, Centror’s customers also include a number of industry elite brands.

François-Henry Bennahmias highly praised the team spirit of Centror Watch Factory and the unremitting efforts of each employee in cutting-edge technology and exquisite craftsmanship.

Jasmine Audemars particularly pointed out that the company attaches great importance to safety, employee experience and environmental issues during the construction of the plant: Manufacture Centror is the first Brass Forges watch factory in Switzerland to be awarded the Minergie-Eco® environmental label. The second factory has obtained the certification, and its construction philosophy is in line with the philosophy of the Audemars Piguet Foundation.
